We went as a couple for a pre-theatre meal, it was part of a 'package' so we had no prior knowledge of Christopers. The restaurant is easy to find, (effectively in the street behind the Covent Garden Tram Museum.) Only a few minutes walk from most of the West-end theatres.

We were impressed right from the start with a helpful and friendly reception that quickly guided us to a table in the first floor restaurant.
The environment was comfortable and well appointed and the service was 'just right'. Menu prices were very reasonable for London, but more importantly the food was delicious, we couldn't fault anything. Perhaps the wine was a tad pricey, I don't remember seeing any economical options.
For us, Christophers qualifies as 'a find' and we will return the next time we do a theatre trip to London.

I have been twice at the Christopher's. I would recommend the place. Prizes are ok; enough choice; tasty and fresh food.

Just one remark: the service is slow, probably not in the kitchen itself and in the dining area.

A pre theatre dinner, quality atmosphere and pleasant staff, an excellent menu. We had a 'for two' platter for dessert, very yummy. By the time we left for the theatre the bar was buzzing, obviously a popular early spot for revellers.

A very good venue for a pre-theatre supper. Staff are friendly, good service, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent value for money

With two daughters and their husbands living in London, we have got into a lovely habit of booking theatre tickets for the whole gang. We come up by train and are usually joined by another son and his wife from out of town. Party of eight, in the West End, needing somewhere to eat together before or after the show. Twice now, we have chosen Christophers and been very satisfied. We like to meet downstairs for a cocktail and we like the reception staff who are always charming and friendly. Then upstairs to a table for eight big enough for elbow room, elegantly laid but in a room big and open enough that we can hear each other speak despite other diners around.
We went yesterday for brunch before Twelfth Night at the Apollo, Shaftesbury Ave. Yes, that's a good walk away but we knew we would have good service and be away in time. So it proved. The service was excellent; attentive without fuss. They don't ignore you then come and ask the formulaic 'Is everything alright for you?' then get thrown if you actually comment adversely. This staff keep an eye on you, throughout. They are a cheerful crew too. One error in the order was remedied swiftly without awkwardness
The food is excellent and well presented. The wine is good if not outstanding. I like the cocktails which are inventive. We'll be back
