“Nice pub, excellent food and wide selection of beers”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Good location hidden within Kensington small streets. Boiling with activity of locals after work, the pub itself is welcoming and charming. The selection of beers is monumental and worth checking. It also changes with season and brings small local breweries to it. But tge real highlight is the food - really high quality among British pub food.

“Classic English Pub”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

If your looking for a friendly pub, this is the place. They encourage the sampling of a large draft beer selection. Food is excellent, went back three nights for dinner. Try the friend chicken, my wife and I split an order, just right for light eaters. Cesar salad with chicken an excellent choice.
Staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

“A convivial oasis”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

We have visited this pub on 3 occasions whilst in London and it is very enjoyable oasis five minutes from Kensington High Street and about 10 minutes from The Royal Albert Hall. It’s a convivial place and we have enjoyed the beer, food and wine on every occasion.

Staff are very welcoming and one gets the impression that it’s a popular ‘local’. Service for food can be slow in busy times, which is fine if you are not heading off to a show or an appointment, but just be aware. This is a real find, and a great place to really relax for a couple of hours at lunchtime. Highly recommended.

“Luscious lemonade”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Not a girl known for soft drinks but it was a baking hot day. I was intrigued by the basil and cucumber lemonade, it was gorgeous. Staff really friendly, a great, PROPER pub, well worth a visit

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your visit to our pub. I'm glad you liked our homemade lemonade. You mentioned you're not normally one for soft drinks so next time you're in why not pop a little Hendricks gin in there...it's fab!

Thanks again for your comments

Hope to see you soon

“Excellent, hidden gem near to V&A Museum and Kensington Palace”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

The exterior looked so welcoming with outdoor seating and a mass of flower tubs, baskets and when we entered the staff were so friendly and helpful. The seating inside was so homely and there was also outside seating. We understand there's a great garden too but didn't have time to look at it.

The range of draught beers and ciders was excellent and the pub also offered local brewers products. All the staff were knowledgeable about their products and the menu on offer and all prices were reasonable for such a classy area. The Builders Arms is a must if you're looking for a typical London pub in a great location, just quiet off the main, busy streets of London. Thank you to all staff. We shall return for sure.
