What a stunning restaurant this is.
Authentic Spanish Tapas cooked superbly and a wonderful atmosphere. You can't book, queue outside before opening, sit shoulder to shoulder with other diners and watch the chefs go about their business. There are 23 seats at the bar which I imagine are generally always full but the Manager is excellent at "managing" your wait and you can have a drink whilst you do. He is always aware of who is finishing eating and who is next for a seat.
Once seated the menu is varied and interesting with many standard dishes and a selection of specials. The food is clearly freshly prepared by top class staff.
It is pointless describing what we had because it was varied but all fantastic. We were in London for 2 days and we enjoyed our first lunch so much we revisited on our second day-testimony enough.
It isnt cheap but the old saying "you get what you pay for" springs to mind. It will be first on our schedule when we next visit the Capital.
