“This place is good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

I've read many of the reviews below and they perplex me. Ive only eaten lunch here because i work in London But - This is an independently run Italian restaurant. the food is good authentic Italian food. It is not expensive. It is very very tasty. The staff are really friendly and I've eaten much worse food in many 'swanky' restaurants. Give it a go.. I don't think you will be disappointed

“Nice little independent Italian restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

We stumbled on this little restaurant and were intrigued by the short menu and the live piano music. We had a delicious ham and mushroom pizza, special mention for the crust which was light and crunchy. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was spicy without being overwhelming. And more importantly, the pasta was not drowned in too much sauce.
So far so good but the Giotto salad was a major let down. Priced as a main dish, it was hardly worthy of an entree in quantity, the quality was alright but given the price charged the quantity should be at leastvdouble and bread should be served as well.
The service was excellent, the food was piping hot when it arrived on the table and the staff paid attention to everybody's whishes.

“If you don´t have a better option”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

The menu is based on pizza and spaguetti, the price for a salad, pasta or pizza and a drink is approximately 11 pounds but you must not forget the VAT at the end. The food is average and the staff very polite. It is close to the Brittish Museum, so it can be a good option for no other option.

This italian restaurant is run by turkish stuff from the cooks to the waitress...
Everyone speaks turkish and the atmosphere is far from italian...
Food and prices avarage...

“Very good value meal and great friendly service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

We wanted a non-chain Italian meal after a hard day at the British Museum. This restaurant is only 5 minutes walk away. The welcome was very warm, there was a pianist playing, the food was very good, the house wine more than adequate. The young manager was very friendly and he seemed to take everyone's order.
The restaurant decor was a little more reminiscent of a french cafe but very nice. If you want an Italian meal in the vicinity of the British museum with more atmosphere and better value for money than the italian restaurant chains, this is a very good option.
