“An interesting setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

We were staying at a nearby hotel in Mayfair and choose this restaurant given the very good reviews on Top Table and Trip Advisor. It proved to a very enjoyable experience and we will certainly be making a return visit when in the area again.

The restaurant has an interesting setting in not only overlooking St James' Park, but also in its internal decor, with eye catching wall paper. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The food was very well presented and on the whole delicious. The antipasti starter was a real highlight! The range of food was rather limited though. Would certainly recommend!

“Great restaurant attached to a terrible hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

We really enjoyed lunch here. It wasn't busy and we had a window in the bay overlooking the park. Service was very pleasant and swift. The selection on offer was very good, and the menu very well priced for this part of the city. It's a shame its attached to the Park Lane Hotel which offers very poor value for money. But don't let that put you off eating at Citrus.

“Delicious food, nicely presented and served”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

We were taken to Citrus by our financial advisor. It's very clean and yesterday (which was freezing outside) was comfortably warm. We ate a late lunch. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was very good and served on lovely, hot plates. The Montepulciano we drank with our meal was excellent - smooth and richly fruity. My only grumble was that the crackling on the top of my slow braised pork hadn't been crisped up - but the dish was otherwise excellent. The meat was meltingly soft and very tasty indeed. Serving it was black pudding and beetroot only served to deepen the flavours. My husband was very happy with his burger and the puddings were also good. I'd go again tomorrow!

“Good food and nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

Very good service from the staff and excellent food (would highly recommend the mixed antipasti platter for starter and the char grilled burger for main was excellent). We also like the decor which gave a cosy and warm atmosphere.

Given the restaurant is situated in one of the most exclusive areas in London we thought the food was very well priced given the quality. Would highly recommend.

Great food. Excellent service.
The service before and during the meal was brilliant and the food excellent. We had the set menu £19 option and it was incredible value. Can't recommend this this restaurant highly enough!
