Pizza express is reliable every location you go. The same bog standard pizza but at least the food comes quick. This is great when you are trying to catch a show at one of the Southbank's theatres.

Food was okay, service was possibly the worst I've encountered and it wasn't really busy. The person serving kept getting things wrong, brought out the wrong meals, took 25 minutes to bring a bottle of wine and then didn't bring back glasses to put it in when asked. On asking other members of staff we were told we'd have to wait for the original person. The guy who looked like he was in charge was also pretty incompetent. We were in the place for nearly three hours, because service was so slow. Wouldn't generally choose Pizza Express if friends didn't want to go there, but this was a particularly bad experience of one!

Excellent. This is a big restaurant and to make things work as every table was full must have taken some good management. Food was the usual good fair from this consistent chain. The difference was made with excellent service with staff truly on the ball tonight. A most enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours before the fireworks outside. This was a repeat visit from three years ago.....same situ.......recommended.

Went to Pizza Express with 11 other workmates for Xmas meal. Mistake - nothing festive at all,
wouldnt have known it was even Christmas time. The table wasnt decorated, no crackers, nothing at all, very disappointed as we booked it as a christmas meal from work and particularly asked for Crackers for the hats, jokes etc. Manager wasnt bothered, said we could have free coffee or liquer at the end but only 4 people liked coffee and no-one wanted a liquer. I would never book Pizza Express for a Christmas treat again.

Very busy, perhaps due to time of year.
Pizza was served lukewarm and the Peroni beer was almost the same temperature i.e. too warm

I headed especially for this brand as I had thought it would be a safe bet.

Very disappointed
