“Great food!”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Had a really great time here on Tuesday for dinner and movie night. The meal was delicious and the service great. The cinema is really unusual, you get your own 2 seater sofa so makes for a really relaxed night!

“Smelly”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

I have been here a couple of times and really loved it. But this time we wandered in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a distinct smell of vomit and bleach. There was rugby on the big screens and no more than 6 people in the bar. The whole experience was below average. The gorgeous aquarium is the only thing that made it bearable! Such a shame because I have really enjoyed coming in here in the past!

“Great Experience”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

Took my other half along for dinner and movie night, we both ate and got tickets for the cinema for £16 pounds each!!! Bargain!
Really nice diner with nice burger selection, attentive staff and the cinema is awesome! Huge comfy leather couches for you to share with a chum and massive screen! Hidden gem quiet frankly!

“Overpriced Brunch for tiny portions”
Reviewed December 24, 2013

Took some visiting friends here last week as we had previously enjoyed a nice dinner and Cinema night at Exhibit... well, Brunch couldn't have been any more different. I paid £7 for Eggs Benedict that was two halves of a muffin, a tiny rasher of bacon on each and a very plain Hollandaise Sauce. My friends had the pancakes which were also incredibly small as they had ordered to the Tall Stack and expected a good amount for the price paid.

The couple on the table next to us had the Full English which actually looked really good and a good-size portion, which makes it even more strange that the two dishes we had would be so small.

It was a bit embarrassing as we had told our friends how good The Exhibit was when we last visited.

We'll only ever be coming back here for dinner - there are so many great brunch places in Balham that we'll never risk coming back here for that again.

“Fabulous Americana”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

Stopped by as we were craving burgers - loved the decor of the diner and the totally americana themed menu. Burgers were pretty good (only let down was there weren't served in brioche buns) as were the fries. Service was friendly although I don't think they had enough staff that day to cover all the tables - it quickly filled up around 1pm ish. Milkshakes sounded tasty but we were too full to try them this time around. Deals they have on mid-week sounded very good value. Will be back soon - hopefully to catch a film in the cinema upstairs too. Shame the screenings aren't more frequent on weekday evenings!
