“Good for a change - unique”

Group of 6 friends - had been told about the restaurant so gave it a try. Reminded me of being in Peru, authentic dishes, served inca cola (their popular soft drink) and Cusquena (a great beer from Peru) - even had Peru panpipes music playing! Service not fantastic - asked for recommendations and waiter went through options so fast I was even more confused than before. Ceviche was very spicy - as is the hot sauce for the table. All dishes were filling and meat heavy. Restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere - but was a midweek night.

“Poorest service I had for a while”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

Firstly, it was freezing in there. The door was being opened constantly and when we asked for it to be shut the staff looked at us like we had asked for a free meal. Slow service, dishes coming out with gaps between the party getting the course. Waiting staff leaving us half way through drinks orders, starter plates still on the table when the mains came (after a considerable gap) no cutlery when the mains came, a 5 minute wait for the final main etc etc. not impressed, food was ok but not worth the terrible service. Won't be back.

“Unexpected pleasure”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

With a bitter wind blowing and hungry for lunch after delayed trains, our family group was delighted to find this unpretentious Peruvian restaurant just by London Bridge station. It was especially appropriate as one of us is just back from a visit to his girlfriend in Peru.
Most of us were in a meat mood so had Lomo de Saltado (with chicken), Lomo de Pobre (with beef), and the lamb dish, all of which were very good. One had seafood and he pronounced that very good too. Main courses about £14 but they are substantial and filling and I thought good value. Decor is simple, but go for the food.

“A bite of Peru in the middle of London”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

Being a fan of Peruvian cuisine I was very surprised to find this little Peruvian corner in the middle of London. The secret of any Peruvian dish is the use of authentic ingredients and I know how challenging it may be when you are thousands miles away form the country of origin. To my mind Tito's is pretty successfully dealing with that. My "causa rellena" was very good and "ceviche" tasted exactly like in Peru - spicy and delicious. A shot of good Peruvian pisco went extremely well with all above. Our waiting staff was friendly and entertaining and will definitely be back during my next London trip.

“Just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

nothing special about this restaurant. food is okay; edible. but no wow factor. because it is so average, i think it is overpriced. you could get a lot better food for the same value. not sure if i would specifically come back here again.
