“I like this restaurant for lunch”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

I like their lunch menu. If you enjoy Malaysian food, this is definitely a great place to go in London. I tend to avoid having dinner there as the music and noise from the long bar can make the dinner somewhat uncomfortable. But lunch is quiet and the service always very good.

“Fantastic for a meal with friends”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

I have been for dinner 3 times in consecutive months, in July with customers, in August with Family and in September with Friends. Its a great atmosphere and the Malaysian food is amazing, very tasty, fresh and flavorsome. I would recommend a week night over Saturday (Thursday/Friday). But its a great place to relax, eat, chat, drink and generally have a good time

“Overall all - good food & excellent service.”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Had dinner here with a party of 12 people on Saturday evening... We sat outside in the "courtyard" under the heat lamps. Overall the food was good and the service was the best part : excellent. The main disappointment was the price. The party had to have the 'set menu' at £60 a head & there was no way I was served £60 worth of food. Throw in a few cocktails and you get little or no change out of £100 a head. There are much better restaurants around for that kind of price. Would give it 3.5 out of 5 - the best part being the service we received!

“Disappointing for Saturday evening dinner”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

I took my partner here for a birthday dinner one Saturday evening in April 2013, having seen the restaurant on Master Chef and having a love of Malaysian food. It's not a dinner place as we discovered, the loud music in the long bar made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting across the table at each other. The food was good but the portions were on the small side and expensive for what you got.The restaurant was understandably empty.

“A Fine Culinary Experience.”
Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

We were planning to visit Sanderson's fabled 'Long Bar' for a some cocktails and upon noticing the showery weather forecast I came to the conclusion that dining in the immediate vicinity would be appropriate.
Previously I'd not eaten at Suka despite several visits to either the bar or stays in the hotel it's self, I have to say it was quite exceptional.
Forgive me for not remembering their Malaysian names (except nasi goring sic) but all of the four dishes we sampled were of the highest quality cuisine with delightful flavours. Other dishes being sea bass, belly pork and the simply delicious lamb curry.
The setting and ambiance outside under candlelight was delightfully laid back with every single member of staff being very attentive and doing all they could to make our visit enjoyable.
We shall return.
