The. Best. Eggs. Benedict. EVER.

Mmmmmmm so good, the eggs benedict with the salmon on the muffin bread is so tasty, I have dreams about this. I live just up the road from this place, and it always looks so jolly and cosy, and in the summer the tables of al fresco diners looks so inviting. My boyfriend ordered the Coq au Vin, and said it was delicious ( he is french so this can be deemed as true and accurate). I thought to stay safe with their breakfasts and was dubious about the fact that they offered things such as coq au vin, but I stand corrected. Have only ever had lunch/ brunch here, but I will definatley return for an evening meal- the lure of tasty and reasonably priced food in a cosy candle and cusion filled interior is calling!

A small friendly and very welcoming restaurant. Service was excellent and really attentive, a good range of dishes, well presented and served. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and I would go back. Great atmosphere. If you happen to visit during the summer (August 3rd?), you can sit outside on the pavement. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to this restaurant for Friday lunch 2 weeks back . The restaurant is quite big but has lots of different areas and has a nice atmosphere. Food and drinks were very good - it has a large and varied menu selection . The only negative was that service sometimes took a while but on this occasion it didnt detract from a nice, lazy and unrushed lunch. Will be returning soon.

I used to go to Konnigans years ago and have forgotten how good it was. Good honest food in a classic wine bar environment - all rustic and dark candles.

The staff are nice and friendly and the food is great. The meat comes from the butchers over the road Cleavers, which I beliebe Konnigans own's - my rump steak was fantastic, great flavour.
Went on a Saturday night at end of January - don't know if people are still skint but it should have been busier.
