We booked a late table on a two night stay. The food was superb and the service first class. It was so good we went back the next night. One of the best Indians I have ever visited. We can highly recommend it

This restaurant is simply the best Indian restaurant in West London on so many levels. This was my second visit.

1. location. Hammersmith. Easy for anyone along the M4 corridor as well as Central London.

2. decor. Stylish, Traditional Indian fixtures/ paintings. Very well designed. Quality furniture.

3. Food. Delicious. Spicy dishes with 'two chillies' are actually hot! No need for extra green chillies.

The Menu is very interesting with plenty of dishes to try on repeat visits. The portions are very reasonable with plenty of meat in each dish.

4. Presentation. First class. Someone has thought through how to present starters, desserts, and condiments.

5. Service. Friendly and professional - not O.T.T as is so often the case in I dian restaurants.
Attentive - beers delivered promptly as was wine.

6. Wine. Not something you associate with Indian food - but this is where ( if you like wine) will be surprised. Try the SULA wines. We had a red and white, and both were superb. I've changed my mind - there IS wine that works with Indian food.

7. Price. 8 stuffed people, 3 bottles of wine, lassis, 10 cobra beers, and more food than we could finish was £397. So around £50 a head. Without alcohol, more like £30 a head. For the quality - superb value.

Thinking of going? Don't think- book and go and enjoy.

Indian Zing just does everything a bit better than everyone else.

- the welcome at the door is warm, friendly and personal
- the menu is more interesting than almost all other Indian restaurants
- the service is friendly and efficient
- the food is freshly cooked with wonderful flavours
- the ambience is good with a nice buzz
- the prices are reasonable and represent great value

We have been twice in the past couple of weeks and both times walked away commenting how good Indian Zing is and how we would be back soon.

If you are in the area, try it out. A winner every time.

We were staying in the Premier Inn over the road and this restaurant seemed to be very popular even on a Thursday evening. It was packed! We had obviously not booked bu the staff created a very good table for us towards the back of the restaurant. A very high class set up and two very good main dishes. Although remaining busy service was constantly available.

Lovely linen tablecloths and napkins, the starters had lovely flavours, try their twist on the onion baji. The mains were ok, but too much sauce, the ladyfingers were lovely as a side, they have tilda wholemeal rice, which I have not seen , but that's £4. The kulfi ice cream was plentiful but spoilt by the over sweet mango sauce, friendly service, worth a detour.
