I very much enjoyed dinner here tonight with friends. It's in a cute wee lane in Hampstead, north London. There is a fine (and subtle) resident guitarist. At the table we had sea bass, flambeed lobster linguini and swordfish (my choice). There were also excellent fried courgette batons and a sumptuous Gavi di Gavi. Thanks, Nigel.

Our friends from Devon recently spent a weekend in London and asked us to meet them for a meal and drinks. My husband booked Villa Bianca and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, tucked away off Hampstead High St,The food and choices were very good, also the Amarone wine!!(we recommend) but most of all the service was excellent. We were looked after by a young man named Alessandro,he was polite, helpful and professional. We were totally relazed in this restaurant and could have stayed much longer sipping our lovely wine.
Thank you all at Villa Bianca for an excellent evening,we will return.Keep up the good work.

Keeping this short which must mean it's good! Used to come here years ago and have just rediscovered it. Not haute cuisine but neither are the prices. Better than most Italian restaurants I've visited in London over past 45 years and a gem for this part of London not known for tip-top restaurants. Service a pleasure with waiters with a sense of humour. Can't fault it!

We visited VB last wk end for the first time. The first thing I liked about the resturant was the beautiful building tucked away off the high street. The resturant is like walking into a time warp. It would be a guess but I would say its not changed since the 80's.

The food was good and the service was top notch. If your after the latest funky Italian then this is not the place for you. The reason VB has been serving London for over 30 years is because its a very good resturant.

A classic
