Description: Situated in London's Westbourne Park, just a five minute meander from the local tube stop, Mosob offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Eritrea. Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Influenced by geographic and historic links to Arabia, Ethiopia, the Sudan and Italy, Eritrean cuisine is uniquely distinctive with a strong variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, individual spice blends and specialty injera bread used throughout, providing guests with flavours and eating styles they're unlikely to have come across before. Equally focused on tradition and history is Mosob's interior, carefully put together with colourful textiles, rough wood paneling and organic forms alongside contemporary lighting and furniture for comfort and style. Whether an intimate romantic meal, business lunch or dinner and drinks with friends, Mosob offers the food, atmosphere and service to ensure a night to remember.

This is a lovely restaurant - the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. We were slightly disappointed by the food but maybe it's because we had a vegetarian platter, and meat is perhaps the star. That said the veggie food was delicious and very filling. The bread you use to eat the food with your hands (no cutlery) is quite heavy and we felt very full very fast. Also I am always disappointed by a restaurant of this type where the deserts are frozen Italian ones. It was good, but perhaps not as good as its position on the list would suggest.

The food was absolutely delightful! I had Ethiopian/Eritrean food before, but this was really outstanding. Great value too: we order a set menu and was more than enough for two people. Definitely going back soon!

I have eaten at many places in my life...this place was very unique in the sense that it could only work if created with passion. The staff is clearly from the country of Eritrean and they pour their heart and soul into their creations. The food was DELICIOUS...very reasonably priced...and above all I took so much joy in learning from the waiter who was quite witty and funny. A must. (Don't expect a nice pumping place...very low key)

Visited with a few friends for a mates bday dinner.

The restaurant is well accessible by public transport, a short walk from Westbourne park tube station and with a number of buses around. Didn't really noticed too much inside due to the really low lighting, more suitable for romantic dinners. We visited on a Sunday evening and was pretty quiet, considering the hype from TripAdvisor. We also found it to get a bit chilly, well we were sited next to a closed window though.

The keep the food to the original recipes which can be a bit spicy, specially the lamp. Quite enjoyed the chicken. The food comes in big metal plates on top of flat-bread and you also get extra rolled up flat-bread to use it to scoop the food, yes eating with your hands essentially (I guess we could ask for cutlery but decided on the occasion to try it).
The concept is sharing directly from the plates, which while not my thing, is quite a nice experience for an ice-breaker as it creates a bit of a laughter.

Staff is very friendly, funny and helpful.
