“Fantastic”
Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

We ate upstairs. Top notch Italian food, great service from a friendly front of house team; convivial atmosphere and an all round very enjoyable evening. The bill was very reasonable in London terms.

“Very pleasant family lunch”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

We went with grandson and his mum. Very solicitous, but not intrusive service. They made the child a special non-alcholic cocktail, which he said was the best he'd ever had! They also made him a simple bespoke pasta dish. We each had different pasta dishes, rigatoni, putanesca, and lasagne - all good and not too big. A previous visit a year or two back did not impress, but it seemed now like a different place altogether. Very enjoyable.

“Authentic Italian”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

A favourite with my family, a first for me, so it was unexpectedly tasty, authentic Italian fare. Not easy to find albeit the many Italian restaurants in London. Our starters were excellent, as were our pasta courses. We loved the wine, the coffee, warm welcome and exceptional service. The atmosphere downstairs was very cosy and friendly. Will definitely return.

“Lovely meal”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We enjoyed a lovely meal here with family. Traditional style meal with courses of antipasti, pasta, fish, meat then dessert. The scallops were fantastic as was the pasta course and although the fish course was good it wasn't exceptional. Saying that I'm purely basing the review on the cost of the meal so being quite picky. The dessert was very nice.

The service and wine were exceptional and I'll be visiting again as it actually seems to be authentic italian which is something you struggle to find in London with the amount of chains in the market!
