Being as this was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Chelsea neither the food or place was very impressive. One plus side was we had a voucher for our meal wouldn't have wanted to pay full price, have had better meals in cheaper places. No atmosphere in the place as only us and one other couple in there. We were under the impression that it would be busy as we had an email to ring to confirm our booking...hmmm? Won't return

Having lived and travelled all over the world over the past 40 years my wife and I cannot recall ever eating at such a truly awful cafe (to call it a restaurant would be pretty ridiculous).
Tired and run down the room lacked any atmosphere either from its scruffy decor nor it's virtual lack of diners at 1:40 on a Sunday or indeed for the later part of our meal, no one.
The champagne was nice and the smoked salmon was tasty, but there again other than buying and opening then there was nothing they could do wrong with those.
As for the rest of the meal, the roast sirloin compared poorly with the local pub where at least they know what medium rare means. As for the plaice the fact that it was a large bone with limited fish on it turned out not to be a problem as it was so disgusting my wife could not eat it. And the sweet corn soup it was gluttonous slop. Ramsey should be ashamed to be associated with such a dump!

We were brought a voucher to use at this restaurant by a friend and were looking forward to this visit as it is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant but i must say i was left feeling a little disappointed when i reached the venue. It seemed to be in the middle of nowhere so we went for a drink before and had to travel to the restaurant after. We had waited for a couple of months to get our reservation as it had been closed for two months being renovated but when we reached it i would not say i was impressed with the decor, it was very ordinary and not what i expected from such a noted celebrity. The restaurant was not very busy, i would think it gets its custom from vouchers and from word of mouth as there does not seem to be much around it. The food was nice, but nothing special, very fine dining so you do not get a lot but it was tasty. The staff were very nice and the service was very quick and pleasant. I am pleased i had a voucher to eat here as i think i would be disappointed if i had to pay full price. I am pleases i have eaten here but i do not think i will be rushing back too soon.

We came here using a voucher and had a very nice meal. I was slightly underwhelmed by the decor after expecting something a bit more up-market from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. However, the service was good, the food excellent and the price - with voucher - reasonable. I'd not want to pay the full price though.

We were quiet excited to be visiting a Gordon Ramsey restaurant (or I was ) but have to admit to leaving a bit dissapointed. We ha been rang twice at home to confirm our reservation so were imagining the venue must be very busy. On our arrival there were only two other tables occupied. There were no staff to greet us or to show us to our table.

We had a voucher as a gift from our son and daughter in law and had to choose from the set menu, no issues with the food apart from portion size, (my husband had something to eat elsewhere to eat within a couple of hours and that is very unusual for him).

the overall feeling from the place was one of despair, staff very unmotivated , shame.
