“Still Excellent”

In 10 years I've only eaten at this restaurant 7 times but every time it's just as good as the last. The ambience, the food, the price and the service are all superb. The menu is a little different from the last time I visited, but in a good way. There are dishes to cater for all appetites and likes from creamy, fruity, spicy, mild, meaty, fish, etc. Everything is cooked with pride, perfection, passion and is pristinely served. Congratulations Champor-Champor, you're still fantastic.

“liked it.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2013

very good food, in a quirky place. all friendly and helpful although you do get the feeling they are all family and not highly trained, but efficient nevertheless. with asian food i prefer to order loads and then share but all the starters came as individual plates and were put in front of each of us. so we had to eat a bit and then pass it on. a quick discreet chat with the waitresses changed that for the mains courses........we all had a small plate and could help ourselves to the centrally placed dishes. not a big deal, but we wanted to sample a bit of everything - and it was worth it. there weren't really any weak links in what we ordered. it is a touch expensive but focus on the food rather than the location and surroundings and i think you should be happy.portions are also pretty generous. i will go back.

“Yum Yum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

My husband and I found this restaurant on the internet and decided to give it a try on Saturday evening after a visit to The Shard. We had not booked, and it was busy, but we were given a table which required vacating after an hour and a half, what a wonderful experience, the food was so so flavoursome, loved the Duck and Hoisin Sauce, and the Prawns, my goodness, they were the size of a Lobster!
The decor is very quirky, but like someon else said 'Fairy-tailey', a great talking point.
Yes, a tad expensive, but well worth every penny.

“I enjoyed my meal 100%”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

We went to Champor Champor with my friend visiting London just for a couple of day and we both liked the place. It is decorated very carefully and it has god a Thai fairy-taily feeling to it. The food was great as well. The only downside was the price but I guess we had to pay for what we got. Excellent place if you are not on budget:)

“Average experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

We had some friends from the Netherlands staying the night, so we thought that we would give Champor-Champor another try. The service was erratic- the waiter kept on throwing glass bottles into a bin already full of bottles just behind us, and all we heard all night was glass crashing. The waitress only stopped by when called over. Starters were OK. Main course was better although 3 arrived and eventually the 4th arrived. We had a beer each and bottle of red wine with our meal. It is quiet pricey- we paid £43 per head for 2 courses with sides, and alchohol. Dessert didn't inspire us, so we headed home for coffee and chocolates
