We went to Champor Champor with my friend visiting London just for a couple of day and we both liked the place. It is decorated very carefully and it has god a Thai fairy-taily feeling to it. The food was great as well. The only downside was the price but I guess we had to pay for what we got. Excellent place if you are not on budget:)

We had some friends from the Netherlands staying the night, so we thought that we would give Champor-Champor another try. The service was erratic- the waiter kept on throwing glass bottles into a bin already full of bottles just behind us, and all we heard all night was glass crashing. The waitress only stopped by when called over. Starters were OK. Main course was better although 3 arrived and eventually the 4th arrived. We had a beer each and bottle of red wine with our meal. It is quiet pricey- we paid £43 per head for 2 courses with sides, and alchohol. Dessert didn't inspire us, so we headed home for coffee and chocolates

Convenient location near the shard. Arrived at 7 to be told to leave by 9 as seeking a double sitting - a charming start.

Starters were okay - goats cheese parcels looks like they came from a packet and nothing special.

Mains was disappointing. chicken curry was a very fatty cut, not discernibly breast or leg.

Flavours were tasty.

Service was acceptable.

Overall nothing special to make this a destination. Prices were fine for what it was.

Funky, cosy decor; delicious, more-ish food; good service. At a time when so many Thai-Malaysian outlets taste all the same and instantly forgettable, I'd definitely go back to this one. Top quality.
