Well worth the waiting list to get in as this really is the place to say you have been Anybody whos anybody HAS to of been here! Our waiter was very helpful and not arrogant like so many good restaurants which is good as they earn 12 per cent service on VERY big prices.
Robata food great and amazing tempura its making my tummy rumble writing this
Cocktails delicious but at about £14 each you arent gonna have many

“Faultless food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Three of us for lunch. Place was half empty so no real atmosphere. Staff were a little surly, particularly the greeters at the door and the bearded sommelier. That's the minor gripes over with.
The food was spectacular, every dish absolute perfection. Edamame, Squid, Yellowtail, seaweed, spinach, spider crab, aubergine, lamb chops, pork skewers, black cod, a couple of puddings and a bottle of wine.£330.
This place has been going for a while now and mostly gets stellar reviews. What amazes is the fact that they haven't become complacent (food wise, service has a little) and keep churning out perfect dishes.
Go.

“Fabulous, buzzy great experience, but EXPENSIVE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

I'd wanted to go to Zuma for ages and finally, after having to cancel a previous booking, we managed to get to go, sadly without our friends, but there you go - about a six week wait for a table, we weren't about to give it up a second time!

The restaurant is a couple of minutes walk from Knightsbridge tube, so very easy to get to. It's incredibly buzzy, there were loads of people at the bar (most of whom seemed to be straight out of the "made in Chelsea" cast, and most of whom probably weren't eating there), it was a bit of a fight to get to the loo.

I didn't spot any celebs but the high end designer handbag count was VERY high!

But to the food and the service - considering how busy the restaurant was, the service was pretty good. Occasionally we had to ask for something but normally we got what we needed, when we needed it. We were unsure how much to order and got good advice from our waiter.

The food was exquisite, totally gorgeously presented and it was a diverting experience gawping at what arrived at nearby tables! Lots of choice and the wine list was excellent. My fruit platter for pudding was utterly outstanding and not nearly as boring as it sounds. I also had an amazing cocktail.

We had a great night, such a good atmosphere and fantastic food. I still don't know what the bill was, I think I shall just remain in blissful ignorance!

Zuma is great, we'll be back.

“Delicious, creative, and very expensive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Zuma is definitely a place to see and be seen, the food is consistently great, very creative dishes exquisitely presented.
The atmosphere is great, always buzzing, bar area usually extremely busy in the evenings, and the cocktails are fantastic (costing £12-£14 per cocktail they better be!).
Robata grill dishes are a must try.

“Yummy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

We've been before and so an easy choice to make for my partner's birthday. As before delicious food - imaginative, beautifully presented and lovely flavours. The scallops....mmmm can still remember how delicious.
The portion sizes were perfect for us - small dishes of memorable food.
Service is swift, friendly and the staff know lots about the dishes. Our waiter explained that the training involves tasting all the dishes so they can speak with personal experience. And it shows.
It's expensive - somewhere for occasions - and worth every penny
We will be back - just need another excuse
