Description: Drawing on Joel Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise, already accredited with several Michelin Stars at restaurants throughout the world, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon's philosophy is based on serving simple cuisine of the most exceptional quality. This London restaurant has been awarded Michelin Star, as well as 3 AA Rosettes, establishing it as one of the most exceptional places to dine in London. Robuchon's menu delights the palate with clean insightful flavours and refreshingly understated presentation. The dishes are predominantly French with Italian and Spanish influences. The dining experience at L'Atelier is an interactive one. On the ground floor, the eating counter surrounds the entire kitchen where the food is prepared. Robuchon sees the immediate benefit of this Japanese-inspired layout to chefs, as one can gauge the reaction of clients, and even converse with them whilst they watch their food being prepared. Unlike the sister restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, the London restaurant also has another 20 seats where diners can sit opposite each other. Meanwhile, La Cuisine on the first floor offers more traditional restaurant seating in a setting that could be likened to dining in the kitchen itself. Wherever you are seated you will enjoy the highest quality food in an informal, convivial environment. Valet parking is also available. Please note, last reservations are taken half an hour prior to closing time. Dress code: Smart Casual, shorts are not permitted.

All in all, the food, the wine as well as the service was uneven. The winelist is interesting and it gives many alternatives but its expensive here and the advice from the sommelier says nothing about the wine being a second from a big claret. As for the food, the mash is....mash and nothing to get excited about. The overall experience was not what we expected and we left disappointed. L'Atelier is not worth either its price tag - or star(s) to us.

My wife and I very much enjoyed a two course lunch accompanied by sommelier selected wines. We particularly appreciated the friendly but precise service, and it was refreshing to be encouraged more than once to become a repeat customer.
Well, the meal was delicious and excellent value. We will!

This was an absolutely delicious evening - the soufflé was sublime, the mash legendary and lived up to its reputation.

We dined here on a family night out in London's theatre-land and had their pre-theatre set menu; the food, atmosphere and service were faultless - as indeed were the pre-dinner cocktails - all at an unbelievable price. Totally recommended, we will certainly return.

Amazing and beautiful restaurant. Service and atmosphere is impeccable. Food and flavours are tantalisingly excellent. Also visited this restaurant with boss for a celebration lunch. Counter seats are especially superb as you can watch the chefs prepare your dish. Would highly recommend. Expect to pay £50-£100 with drinks after in the bar upstairs. A most relaxing bar to be seated in. I cannot wait to go again.......
