Description: Levant restaurant in London's West End is so much more than a Middle Eastern eaterie. Nestled between bustling Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, it transports you via a unique experience to more exotic lands. The interior of this ultra-atmospheric restaurant and Mezze Lounge are decked out in bold colours with sensuous fabrics and authentic details, softly lit and saturated with the aroma of gently-burning incense. The authentic Lebanese menus from mezze to grilled fish, meat and fresh salads offer a myriad of spices, textures and flavours. Belly dancers perform every evening to add to Levant's sensory treat, and at weekends a resident DJ samples cool beats until the early hours.

Good middle eastern restaurant. If you choose a feast menu do not eat too much bread to leave some space for the main course. There is also a belly dancer.

“Great food and location”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

I was invited for a work dinner and there were around 18 of us.
It was unfortunate that we missed out on the belly dancing as the main guests were unable to watch the dancing.
However once we were seated and served the food was plentiful and very good. The fried starters were not greasy at all and delicious. The mains which was grilled meat on rice were really tasty and moist too.
We were served non-alcoholic cocktails and these were really good too.
All in all we had a really good evening. The only thing is that we were sat near the band and the music was too loud. We left as the night was kicking off and the other customers seemed to be Lebanese regulars at the restaurant and were enjoying themselves.
The staff were friendly and accommodating for our group which made it a nice experience for everybody.
As I didn't pay I can't comment on whether it was good value or not.

“Music too loud. Never got to the food!”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

Booked what we thought would be a relaxing dinner with our daughter and her boyfriend. As we entered the belly dancers were going through a routine and the music was deafening! It reduced slightly in volume and we were sat down right underneath a speaker. Music was still uncomfortably loud. Could not even hear each other across the table as we discussed the menu. Complained to waiter who said he would see what he could do while he sorted our wine choice. After 5 minutes, still no change and we were getting increasingly uncomfortable. We then decided to get up and leave. Went to much more acceptable Moroccan restaurant across the road which had pleasant BACKGROUND music in the dining area, and if anyone wanted a bit of belly dancing and head banging, there was a club downstairs. Thanks to Ayoush restaurant for saving our evening. If you intend to talk over dinner, forget Levant.

“Great decror with fantastic food”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Went here for our anniversary dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor. There was live belly dancing which added to the experience. We had a set menu, slightly pricy but you get what you pay for- Food is probably one of the best in London- fantastic authentic flavors, just how Lebanese food should be! Will definitely be going back.

“Great food and service”
Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

Great food and attentive service. It wasn't just a night out but a great experience. I went on a Friday and they had belly dancers and a singer with a live band. The place was full of Lebanese people which is usually a sign the place served authentic Lebanese food. There was also dancing. A great find.
