I've eaten here several times over the years, and this remains one of my favourite destinations in London. It's cozy with great food and I'd recommend it for people of all ages, though the mid-20s to late-30s crowd seems to predominate in practice. A short walk from London Bridge tube/rail station on Bermondsey Street. Reservations advisable.

I went there twice during oct/nov 2012. The atmosphere and service was lovely. Shame about the food. It was rather over-priced and pretentious. Although they nicely didn't charge when my wife complained that the gnocchi was too sweet and mushy.

Although we would have liked to go there for dinner, we only made it for breakfast. We enjoyed their selection of food as well as their tea collection. Worth a visit any time of the day.

After a glorious first time about 1 year ago this restaurant now has lost it in my view.
Making a reservation 1.5 months in advance for a birthday dinner and asking for a larger desk away from the door we experienced following:
Table: right at door, very cold and new customers waiting to be seated sitting in your neck
Birthday surprise: forgotten
Service: constantly bumping into our chairs and the good waiters from the past = gone
Food: good but really average nowadays
Big minus: guests putting their feet on chairs without restaurant management intervention, only after we ask the waitress.

Fazit: not worth to go there anymore
