We are in London a lot for business and we always make sure to have at least one meal (if not more) at The Wolseley. The room is beautiful, fun and always lively, and you never know who you will see there. They have a very nice menu with something for everyone, the food is really good and the service is great. Not to mention we always wind up sitting next to someone who we wind up chatting with. The oysters are a great way to start and then just go from there, and the wine list is excellent as well!

Have eaten here a few times now as it's one of my father's favourite places when he's in London. It's always very busy but the staff are very friendly and helpful, we have been without a reservation before and they managed to squeeze us in, we just had a drink at the bar first.

I normally go for the Croustade of Quails Eggs and Hollandaise to start which I highly recommend and then the steak for the main. I like my steak medium-well done which is often the hardest to cook as it needs to be ever so slightly pink in the middle, they have managed to cook it perfectly every time here.

Would happily eat here again and would recommend it to others.

I visited the Wolseley on Saturday 15th Feb for a late Valentines dinner. We were directed to the bar as we were a little early four table. We had two pre-dinner cocktails that were made with the greatest level of concentration and attention that I have ever seen! We decided to push the boat out and have oysters to start with Chateaubriand to share for mains. The oysters were fresh and the beef was so pink and tender, I will be thinking about it for months! All washed down with a really tasty rioja, and two whiskey sours for dessert...

The Wolseley is a marker of what all restaurants aspire to be like. The staff are all polite and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The restaurant is stunning yet there are no pretentions and you are made to feel like a truly valued customer.

Another wonderful visit to The Wolseley. Attentive service (but not over the top). Simple, none fussy food but done so well. A very special evening. Will be back at Christmas Eve if we can get a table!
