Description: Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is a 'non-profit' restaurant, bar and charity near Old Street in Islington, London. We cook elegant, rustic, honest food that flicks your senses from classic, nostalgic flavours to new, inspired dishes cooked by super-skilled young minds. With a buzzing cocktail bar and a kitchen led by Robbin Holmgren. The menu at Fifteen is the kind of food Jamie and Robbin want to eat when they're at their happiest. Taking inspiration from around the world, all the dishes on our menu are designed for sharing. Using incredible British produce, whole animals and fish are butchered and prepared on site every day, and paired with ingredients so good they really speak for themselves.

We were a big group of 25 people. Honestly they should not have taken us. We were squized in a small corner in the upper part of the restaurant with constant disturbance by waiters who could not get through between my chair and the column behind me. The service was very slow and full of mistakes from the begining, When serving antipasti we constantly missed either bread, or salt and pepper or olive oil. Main courses were served cold. I went for fish, which could have been very nice unless being covered by cold fennel salad. Dessert was the best of all, but waiters constantly faied to bring something we ordered, water, coffee, red wine in white wine glass, you name it. Forget about this place!

Fifteen is one of my favourite places to eat. Their food is always lovely, full of taste and wonderful. I love their burrata as a starter and always order it. They fish, pastas and rissotto's are beautifully done. Have yet to be dissapointed with the food. The staff are friendly but dont always get things right. There have been a couple of times when they have made mistakes with orders and portion sizes, luckily the food makes up for this.

The staff at fifteen restaurant really could teach many out there a thing or 2 about service. True professional & a credit to the industry & establishment. Absolutely made our experience enjoyable & relaxed. They were knowledgable & happy to help & able to answer all of our questions. Myself & my husband do enjoy Italian food hence our choice of restaurant & the fact that Jamie Oliver is the proprietor must help to get bums on seats, but genuinely despite the menu being slightly pretentious the fact that the staff were so refreshingly helpful I would defiantly consider visiting another Jamie Oliver establishment in the future (maybe even this one if we are ever in the area again).
Defiantly worth a visit for a special occasion, a really relaxed atmosphere with a nice balance of formal & informal. 10 out of 10 for presentation. A nice gap left between courses, attentive staff. A real treat & even if it didn't have the Jamie Oliver brand it would still be well worth the money, really high standards set throughout & a real pleasure.

If you are the type of person who is impressed by celebrity ownership then this is the place for you! If you want excellent food then pass on by! I had the spaghetti with crab and chilli, it arrived luke warm, the spaghetti was boiled to death, the crab was minimal in its appearance, the cream based sauce was beginning to split, the chilli was curious by its absence with lemon as the over whelming factor. They charge £7 for bread and olives! Lunch for two was £60 with no wine just water! There are far better Italian venues in London.
I can't recommend this place and won't be going back!

It's a bit off the beaten track for most of us, being a fair walk from the City. But it's worth the effort. Very well staffed and the food is good quality and very flavour full. Not a wide choice of veggie food but it was good. Being in a basement it gets a bit noisy when there are any larger groups of diners. Value wise, it cost us less than £50 per head including just a glass of wine. When you compare this with "value" restaurants where you can pay £40 per head for very basic meals, Fifteen is quite good value. You do need to book.
