“Excellent, food and service”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

We went for the tasting menu, and everything was amazing.
It's certainly an experience, although not a quick meal, just made the last train home, always a sign of a great night.

“Excellent lunch”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

This was a belated birthday lunch. Dishes were beautifully presented throughout. It was excellent value for money on the fixed 3 course menu. It gives an impression of being formal but once the staff got the sense of our occasion - 3 ladies enjoying a get-together and belated celebration - they went with the flow. The wine waiter assisted us with or wine choice and, after our bottle of champagne, we just wanted something middle-of-the-road cost-wise, and he provided suggestions quite happily. They took the trouble to pipe "happy birthday" in chocolate around our petit fours!! Lovely meal, good surroundings, friendly and accommodating staff.

“Great meal”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Had a great meal here on an offer of 3 courses for £26. Delicious food but as well as the courses, we received delicious home made bread, an 'amuse bouche' and also a mini jelly before we left. Very attentive staff and nice surroundings, will definitely go back

“Delicate french food in an airy setting.”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Went here for Saturday lunch with the London Restaurant Festival menu. However, the daily menu of the day would have worked out at the same value anyway. Nice airy setting, fairly formal but not as stuffy as some similar styled french restaurants. Service was great. Food was solid french food, delicate and well flavoured. Recommend the seafood raviolo and pork and peach main. Desserts were terrific as was the cheese trolley. If you are after a smart french meal with good service, then recommend this place. Not cheap even with the offer so expect to spend a ton fifty, but at least you are eating and drinking well for the money.
