Very dated in all aspects - a bit of a throw back to the 70/80s and definitely trading on its 'old' reputation.
The menu is large and varied but sadly the wine list isn't
To be fair the food is ok but exorbitantly priced.
All staters are about £15 and soups about £10 each.
Mains vary from £15 for a plate of pasta to £40 - yes £40 - for a Dover sole.
House wine is £21 a bottle with an average Pinot priced at £35. The same bottle by the way can be bought at tesco for £6.99
Service was ok but not very personal as we had 4/5 different waiters during the course of our meal.
The deserts were a traditional Italian variety and rather bland.
Overall at £90 a head I think there are better places to spend your money at.
