Enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight. Quiet, as only 4 other tables were occupied. Ordered samosas, devilled kaleja, shashlik, sag king pawns, with rice, roti, and raita. Cost was 45 pounds incl service. Every dish was cooked beautifully. Location is a very quiet street very near Notting hill gate tube behind the cinema. Room itself is pretty. Service was very good. Totally recommend it.

The food is amazing and very special. Staff is friendly without exception. The concept is simple, but the food is so tasty. I have been to a lot of Indian estaurants in London, but malabar can't be beaten

Was staying at the Hilton London Kensington and was looking for a nice meal within walking distance. I was with a business associate who was a vegetarian so Indian food sounded a good fit. A quick Smart Phone search turned up Malabar as being a comfortable walk from the Hilton.

A quiet location on a side street. Relatively easy to find. Was very full on a Thursday evening, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes. We started with the Samosas which were excellent. For a main I had the Murg makhni chicken which was also very good. We ordered both the regular naan and the garlic naan. Both were good, but the garlic naan was amazing. The service was attentive without hovering.

I would definitely recommend Malabar as a great dining option in this neighborhood.
