Description: At Camino, authenticity is more than a word - it's our passion. So much so, we take two staff trips to Spain every year, exploring, staying up far too late and having a brilliant time. Our creative and seasonal tapas from Nacho del Campo uses the finest local or Spanish produce, and celebrates the exciting diversity of regional Spanish cuisine. We've poured lots of love into our drinks menu too, from fresh fruit sangria to an award-winning wine list that showcases some fantastic Spanish wines, sherries and cavas. Our vibrant London bars and restaurants are great for all occasions, from work lunches to romantic dinners to full on parties, with late night DJs every week and always free entry.

There are few places to go around Kings Cross that aren't filled with tourists or big massive un-interesting chains. So I was really looking forward to trying this place out with my friends for dinner.

Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was good, but the service was soooooo slow! We were in the bar so accidentially presented ourselves 15mins late for our table and found it cancelled (sort of fair enough...!) but then another was found for us - yeah! But from then on, we seemed to be the last table looked at or served! It was, at times, painfully slow!

I've been here many, many times - mostly for a post work drink but also to eat, it is both a lively bar and a good restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch last week on the way to the Olympic Stadium and as usual the food was interesting and authentic. Four of us shared both the meat and vegetarian platters plus an extra portion of our favourite croquettes.

Highly recommended, just beware of the salted roast peppers/chillies - we had about 20 to share and lucky me got the only one that had a real kick, wow that was hot.!

A lovely setting with a beautiful courtyard, plus there's a great table football inside, but this place is let down massively by the service from some of the bar staff. One of my friends wanted another mojito but we were told sulkily that they couldn't serve them any more because they didn't have the right ingredients. They also poured the wrong beer. About 10 minutes after we'd got our drinks we were forced to pour them into plastic glasses and herded outside by an aggressive barman, who said they were closing the bar. However, there were still plenty of people in the bar, including some people at the bar who were being served mojitos! Finally, outside in the lovely courtyard, we were harrassed by various members of the bar staff, insisting that we drink up and leave, despite people still drinking inside. Such a shame, as the place has huge potential if it weren't for some of the people who work there and shouldn't really be in customer-facing roles.

Nice little tapas and wonderful soup. There was a more substantial dish of the day available too. Needless to say, we over-ordered which is so easy to do when eating tapas style.
