“Great cocktails and atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

I like this bar especially for drinks before going down to Floriditas which is below it. They have great cocktails, atmosphere and a good location.

“Great evening standard offer”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2012

We went here using the Evening Standard offer for the "carom" pop up restaurant. Food was quite nice, and was good value with the offer (2 courses for 10 pounds). A good evening out.

“Decent pre-theatre place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2011

We were attracted by a special deal - £10 for two courses, or £15 with a glass of wine - on our way to the Soho Theatre. Service was quick and friendly and the food OK for the price. Spicy chicken wings for a starter and BBQ spare ribs and chips for main. Portions small but adequate, chips dramatically over-salted but nice and crisp. Meza promotes itself as Moroccan-themed, but I couldn't see much sign of this. Basically the decor is blood red. So it's like dining inside a tomato. Or an old-fashioned brothel. Not a place I'd queue up to get into, but for a quick meal at 6.30 in Soho it did the business.

“Great restaurant pity about the chairs”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2011

Good venue, great food, but some of the most uncomfortable of chairs that I have ever sat on - spoiled the evening.

“Buzzy venue”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2011

We sat in one of the booths but was warned that we only had a table till 10pm. We were half an hour late but 10 oclock came and no mention of vacating. We had a really nice waiter he was good at recommending dishes, but when we had an issue with one of the mains he was unconcerned even though it was mentioned twice. Good wine at reasonable prices. All the food was of a good standard but reasonably pricey for London. I would go again but maybe just to the bar.
