Description: As soon as you walk into The Atlas you'll feel an immediate warm welcome - fresh flowers, wood paneling and floorboards, black and white tiling, and brick fireplaces. Up at the bar, you'll find 4 hand pumps offering local and regional ales, as well as a carefully-selected list of 40 international wines, with 15 available by the glass. Food-wise, expect daily specials of British and Mediterranean dishes, from a menu that changes monthly. All in all, The Atlas is an ideal pub for a get-together with friends in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Ate here and had a really good chicken sandwich for lunch. A good pub that is not crowded and reasonably sophisticated. i would imagine a great place for Sunday lunch and a few beers / glasses of wine

I had no idea how delicious the meal was going to be!
Four old friends lunching together: 3 of us shared a really generous portion of anti-pasti, while the 4th had fried chorizo, potato, bacon (excellent)
I then had starter size (but huge and faultless) mushroom risotto, two people had heavenly slow cooked veal, saffron risotto with horseradish gremolatta and the last person had really good fish.
You'll gather that the wine was sensational too.
A real treat for a Friday lunch - in a pub, scrubbed table setting - and very convenient for shows at Earls Court. Powerful double expresso sobered us up - a bit!

Exhibiting at Olympia and staying in Earls Court my colleague and I stopped in here for beer and food.

The ribeye steak was just fantastic. A wonderful bit of meat, genuinely cooked to order. Could not have been more happy with it. Good roast potatoes to compliment it with a nice bit of rocket and pesto. Back down for another show in a couple of weeks- will be dropping in here for the same again.

Service good too.

This is a lovely little bar with a courtyard garden. It's not the cheapest (£5 for a pint of Peroni) but the food is really good and the menu has lots of interesting choices - I had the seabass and my partner had the lamb skewers, both were excellent.

The one thing we did find was that when were there (Friday tea-time) it was full of people in suits - not sure if this was due to a function or after work drinking - so the atmosphere was a bit "City daaaahling!". Think Dom Jolie on the phone in TriggerHappy and you're about there.

Surpisingly (considering how nice the bar area was and the high standard of the food offering), the ladies' toilets were a bit underwhelming, with only one having a lock and being generally a bit tatty. This seems to be a pretty common problem regardless of how classy the bar though, so not a reason to avoid, just a little grumble on my part.

Definitely somewhere I would go again if in the area.

A beautiful little pub in an unexpected location. Great ales and a lively clientele. Let down badly by unfriendly service at the bar. Young staff behave as if they're doing you a huge favour and fail to show basic courtesy.
