Had a lovely three course evening meal from the Love Food menu. Salmon starter, steamed place and creme brulee, following by coffee. All well cooked and beautifully presented. Excellent service too. A really pleasant evening.

Excellent service from attentive staff in just the right ambience. However the portions are very small and the food is just very bland. The wine list is pretty good but way overpriced even for a glass

I went with my partner, and we had a "Top Table" deal, where we had 2 courses for £20 each, including a glass of Bubbly Bellini. My partner had the Duck as a main, and I had the pork belly......Both delicious, and although didn't look the biggest portions on the plate, were more than filling when we had finished. Food great, although probably quite pricey without the deal !

I went because I liked the menu, the deserts were superb. There were little annoyances, one out of the four main courses was wrong How did that happen?. Steaks could have been better altogether we enjoyed the food. They are clearly trying to give good service but it fell short for want of a little thought. Initially put us at the back of the restaurant almost in kitchen. The kitchen is open plan and the clatter of pots and pans overwhelming. We moved to front and then moved again to side. Avoid these tables. one to front is near door and bar and one to other front side is next to dumb waiter. Both quite noisy. I know not everyone can have the Royal Box but it is disappointing when you book in advance and at a time to avoid the theatre menu and the 8pm arrivals!
