This place was the last resort because it looked a bit pretentious when we first walked passed

How wrong we were service was amazing attentive and made you feel individual

Food was exceptional and reasonably priced for Kensington
Take my advice don't pass it by

Only negative I would say is why do restaurants still have to put a discretionary service amount on the bill. I would leave a tip but would like to decide myself rather than what the restaurant believes is right
My advice qiuld be get some balls and leave it to your customers to decide
Otherwise very impressed

We really enjoyed the food, great costumer service and outstanding presentation. One of the best food we had in London, Israel and Spain. We'll definitely will dine again at Whits if in London again.

A very good restaurant that serves some excellent food without bankrupting you. The ruhubard plate was a very nice little range of desserts to share, it made excellent value

Found Whits via tripadvisor and am very happy to say we were delighted by our meal. From the friendly greeting on arrival to the unfussy yet attentive service and of course a delicious meal the whole evening was a delight. The lobster ravioli starter was particularly well received. The trio of lamb was appreciated by those who chose it and the venison was just perfect - delightfully pink and tender with bags of flavour. The wine list offers plenty of selection and is very fairly priced. Please please leave space to enjoy a dessert. Choose from a coffee, rhubarb, lemon or chocolate themed plate or a fruit tart. Whatever takes your fancy you will not be disappointed, the dessert was the perfect finalé. We all agreed that a return visit would be high on our agenda.

We had a great meal at Whits. The food is delicious. The fois gras starter was nice, but not memorable. The Mackerel tartlet perfectly OK, but not very refined. The lamb cooked three different ways was truly well executed, but the jus it was drowned in was a bit unsophisticated. My wife chose a second starter as her main, and it was one of the highlights of the meal. The lobster ravioli in a rich lobster bisque type sauce was absolutely delicious. Whatever you order when going to Whits, leave room for the desserts. They are the highlight of the meal. They are priced between £7 and £8.50, but very good value for money. Three different desserts based around a theme are a feast to the palate. I chose the coffee dessert, and the 3 were beautifully bitter, and not too sweet. My wife had the rhubarb trio, which had a perfect souffle, as well as some nice pastries and even a home-made liqueur.
Add to the very nice food, attentive service and a friendly restaurant manager, and you have a great evening.
