Description: Wiltons, established in 1742, has consistently enjoyed a reputation as the epitome of fine British dining in London. George William Wilton provided the finest oysters to the traders of London"s Haymarket. Today Wiltons continues that tradition and continues to serve the finest oysters, seafood and game. Wiltons combines a modern philosophy on service with all that is traditionally British to create the perfect dining experience. Should you have any special requests i.e birthday cakes or champagne, please advise Wiltons immediately upon making your reservation. We politely ask that gentlemen wear long sleeved shirts and long trousers, no sportswear or open toed sandals.

Food was subpar and service was abysmal. According to Mr. Grant we simply didn't deserve better. There are many wonderful restaurants in London I would direct you elsewhere.

You need to wear a jacket and tie (and, ok, they will lend you one), but it's really not worth it unless you like school dinners.

We almost walked past Wiltons. A small unassuming shop front lost in the bevy of clothing shops in Jermyn st. It comes across a bit formal until the English hospitality warms you up, along with the most wonderful seafood. A great selection of oysters ,scallops, Lobster , Crab & fish. We tried 4 different types of oysters(an aussie favorite) followed by fresh irish lobster cocktail. Then into the Beef (yummy). Service is as wonderful as the food. The wine choice is superb. Do not go there if you are on a budget or with time limitations. You must spend the time to enjoy the food & the atmosphere. Make sure you book

Funny old fogey atmosphere, excellent oyster shucking, smoked salmon. Wildly expensive.
