“New chef”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

Having come here for Mother's Day last year we thought we would come here Again, more as it was convenient. Happy to say that the food was even better than last year....apparently they have a new chef :)
Very convenient for us so we will definitely be returning!
12.5% service charge is taking the mick though! :) but free glass of prosecco for Mother's Day was a nice touch!

“Theatre break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

We went on an overnight theatre break, staying at the Holiday Inn, nr Kings Cross. We had been on the road since 6-15 a.m. on the Saturday morning, been to see a show in the afternoon, and wanted to find somewhere where we could just relax and have a lovely meal.

This restaurant was directly opposite the hotel. We didn't book in advance. What a find! The staff, ambience was first class - we couldn't believe our luck. The food was excellent value, and such a wide choice.. Well worth a visit, don't trek any further if staying in the area.

Would certainly return ...Thank you!

“Amazing find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2014

What luck being opposite our hotel, they squeezed us in just before 9pm and gave due care and attention. Steaks were popular and we were told what had sold out. Wine was very good and the service was immaculate. Go here if your at the holiday inn kings cross

“Nice surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2014 via mobile

We didn't expect to find this wonderful gem across the street from the Holiday Inn Kings Cross! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They do have a kids portion if you're traveling with kids. Everything was fresh and obviously made from scratch. Duck confit was great as well as fish and chips and mixed veg soup. Save room for their desserts! I guess I would call their style elevated British pub cuisine.

“Simply Great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

I have to say that to say these guys serve great food at affordable prices does not do them justice. The staff are great and happy to suggest beers to accompany your food choices. Duck and Orange salad plus a burger £11 early evening. GreaT Value.

Definitely up there as one of the best meals at the price.
