We had dinner on a Saturday night where the degustation is mandatory and we chose to have the matching wines. This may well be the best degustation I have had anywhere in the world. The combination of flavours and textures incredible. The service is outstanding the location in Notting Hill awesome. You need to book up to 3 months before to guarantee a reservation. Be prepared to pay for the quality as our bill ended up at £400 which is on the high end compared to some high quality Australian degustation a such as Vanitas at Palazzo Versace.

Booking a table at The Ledbury requires some careful planning given that you can book online only a few months in advance. But the restaurant is well worth it. The food is stunning - Brett Graham is innovative, but also cooks food that you want to eat. At our family lunch, four of us had no problem ordering various dishes across all three courses. Every dish was outstanding. The wine list is also impressive, but offers reasonable value for the quality of wines. Service might lack the ultimate degree of military precision that some expect in 'haute' restaurants, but the friendliness was ample compensation. This is a place to enjoy yourself rather than feel cowed by the weight of Michelin stars. And with that in mind, I'd say The Ledbury is astoundingly good value for what is some of the best (the best?) cooking in London.

The food beats GR at RHR although the service needs tweaking if The Ledbury wants a 3rd Michelin star.

That said we had a great night and the journey home in the 'taxi' organised by the waiter (chauffeur driven Mercedes!!!) topped the evening!

Loved the little handbag hooks - nice touch.

It is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and that is reflected in the price. However the food and the wine pairings were probably the best we've had to date.

Don't hesitate - just book!

Booked lunch at the Ledbury when I was in London to take advantage of the lunch menu. No regrets, might come back for the tasting menu. The lunch menu we had was on the lighter side, with options leaning towards fish/seafood/pork dishes. The food was comparable to Petrus in terms of quality, but not as heavy (i.e. good if you're not that keen on lashings of foie gras, cream and chocolate). I had the ceviche of scallops, which was nice but I wasn't so sure about the frozen horseradish on it. The aged middle white pork was the best pork I've ever had--succulent, tender and well seasoned. Opted for the violet ice-cream and warm tapioca as well. I was satisfied and not over-stuffed after three courses and extra helpings of bread--the onion ham rolls were delicious and just the thing to soak up the sauces with.

Firstly,a quiet area for a London resturant,a reasonable cab fare. The restaurant is relaxed and professional staff both outstanding and completely chilled, which paved the way for a superb informal evening, sometimes lacking in other Michelin restaurants.
Glorious food, whatever your dislikes or likes, this menu enables you to close your eyes and point, guaranteeing what ever comes to the table will be utterly delicious.
Value, well I've paid a lot more and got a lot less, five diners , three courses with amuse bouch,a couple of between course delights ,wine, three and a half hours later. £100 each, I don't call that to bad. Congratulations and thankyou to all.
