We recently discovered this restaurant and loved it. Many thanks to the nice lady behind the counter for patiently explaining the different items on the menu. The dim sum were delicious. This may not be the typical place for a family with two children but they quickly got used to it. Everyone loved the squid skewers!

I've been coming to this place quite a few times over the past five years. The food is excellent, service is quick, tea is great (free refills on exquisite flowery teas) and the atmosphere, although a bit dark, is pretty good, although I have to say I prefer the upstairs as it is more intimate than the downstairs area, which is usually reserved for larger (+2) groups. Service is pretty good too. A reliable place for a decent meal in the heart of London

A lovely restaurant in Soho, we sat outside on a hot day but I would imagine when it is busy it would be difficult to sit out as there are only two small tables to sit two people. The service was fast and very friendly and the dim sum was really tasty. A great place for a quick but really tasty lunch.

I went here to celebrate with a bunch of friends. A girl in PR having heard good things about Ping Pong booked for 12. There was a great big mess about whether they would take a booking of that size. After being pushed back and forth between 2 branches the booking was sorted.

We arrived quite merry and hungry enough to eat several horses. We were delighted with the cocktails but despite the mix of picky eaters (ones who would not touch fish, had never eaten Chinese) etc and absolute pigs like me, no one was particularly impressed with the food.

Basically everything was in a thick dry pastry or steamed in Chinese leaf until it had no flavour left.

However, service was friendly and cocktails were great. One of those gimmicky trendy places which might be fun, but certainly not somewhere to go if you actually want food!

We experienced the usual bad service at this particular Ping Pong. We were greeted and seated. But that's where service ended. We sat so long for someone to come and take out order, that a manager (guy in a suit) came to take it. The staff avoided all my attempts to make eye contact, and three other groups of people who arrived after us were served before us- food and drinks.
This was irritating after also having to pay for service added to the bill, especially as no-one even bothered to apologise or even thank us for our custom as we left- small things add up to a lot.
Food was great, always is at Ping Pong, they have good Dim Sum fare. But the ping pong on the other side of Oxford street blows this one out of the water hands down.
