Description: It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Delicious Tapas and wines all served by attentive and engaged and engaging staff.

Sensible prices for delicious food served promptly so a business lunch is viable.

Try the chorizo and chic pea starter and the roast pork....

I went there for lunch with few friends: never been to Farringdon before and it has been a very big surprise. The atmosphere of the streets is really something: you can feel the Old London style!!!! Love it. The restaurant itself is really cosy and smell so good . The wood oven gives a special flavour that spreads all over. The food is just amazing. Tasty and very well presented. We experienced a very good service as well: people working there were really friendly and didn't put rush on us. Great wine and dessert. Highly recommended . Just book in advance as it s very crowded .

The food, wine and sherry is outstanding on every single occasion.

Not a stuffy place, with a great atmosphere.

You will need to book as it is justifiably very popular.

You MUST eat here if you're in town, you won't regret it.

Even though the food and drinks were nice (very pricey!) we had a shocking service which really spoilt our experience. This Australian sounding blond lady kept reminding us that we only had the table for 2 hours and kept rushing us when we were still deciding. When we asked her for some recommendations she would just say "ah it's all good"... Thanks! She rushed with the plates and cutlery banging things on the table. It was just so outrages and if it had not been for this lady it would have probably been a totally different experience. But if you are dishing out over £50/head you can expect a certain quality and standard of service!
