I often get my take away lunch from the cafe on teh ground floor so I was intrigued to see how a la carte restuarant upsairs would fare. It didn't disappoint. The menu choice was expansive enough without been detrimental to the quality of the food. The wine list offered an extensive and well chosen array of European and in particular Italian wines. The service was discreet and effeicient and the bill not wallet crushing. The view is uninspiring but the large paned windows let in alot of light making the whole room feel bigger than it is. Unlike the mass production feeling of the Bread Kitchen and also Babrecoea across the road in 1 New Change , Manicomio offers a quiet. relaxed and professional alternative. I would go back That's always a good sign.
