Description: The highly recommended and award-winning Mango Tree serves mouth-watering traditional Thai cuisine to an eclectic clientele in Belgravia, conveniently near Buckingham Palace in South West London. Popular with the business crowd, particularly when it comes to post-work dinners, Mango Tree is a contemporary and chic venue that is typical of its East Asian roots in every aspect, from the Feng Shui decor and world-renowned Thai hospitality to the classic and creative culinary delights to be discovered in the menus. Every region of Thailand is represented here. You can enjoy the mild dishes of the North, the spicy delicacies of the East, the Chinese-style cooking of Central Thailand, and the tantalisingly hot dishes from the South. First-time diners are recommended to sample signature dishes, including Som Tum, a classic papaya salad, Pad Ka Pow Pak, stir-fried mixed vegetables with chilli, and Ponlamai Ruam Mit, the seasonal exotic fruit platter served with mango sauce. Mango Tree also hosts a range of special events such as vegetarian and lobster festivals, not to mention the exceptionally unique Thai High Tea. Enjoy a warm and welcoming dining experience in an envious location at Mango Tree.

Impeccable service, delicious food, very minimalist decor. The background music was low enough to easily carry on a conversation. I can't find a negative about this restaurant. Please GO!

I came here mid-week with a friend using the TopTable 50% off deal (expecting this to make the meal fairly budget friendly). However, the discount meant being restricted to certain items on the menu and we ended up paying about £15 each for 2 courses, incl. 12.5% service charge not incl. any drinks.
The restaurant looks impressive and has a definite "business lunch" feel to it. Food is nice enough but service is snotty (i.e. totally professional but not friendly to us "budget" types eaters).

Visited the Mango Tree on a Sunday night, we were greeted with warm, open smiles from all the staff. We were early so chose to sit in the bar area and have a few drinks first, there was no pressure for us to sit and order or to hurry up. The staff were so friendly. The food was good, very prompt and good size portions.
Overall a very enjoyable experience, especially the customer service. Thank you!

First impression, extremely noisy. So much so you can hardly hear the waiters . There are so many you don't who does what? Nice enough though. As for the food,we had fish cakes which although tasty, didn't taste of fish with a plastic consistence. The chicken wings were bland.
The main courses were, for one ( stir fry with prawns , scallops, mussels) dry , the other ( spicy stir fry chicken) ok. The rice resembled more q sticky rice than an egg fried rice. Won't go back there

A group of seven of us went on Tuesday night (17th Sept) for dinner as one of our party had a "50% off" voucher.
Firstly we found the food was poor to average at best - clearly produced as part of a big production line and not as good as most neighbourhood Thai restaurants. Horribly rubbery fish cakes, gloopy satay sauce, the beef in my green curry had a strange unpleasant texture and the sauce was not precise. There was not one recommended dish out of the 10 or so different ones we had. Also, the portions were small. But even worse than that are the prices - they are completely outrageous. £20 for a small plate of pad thai noodles??? I should have know when I couldn't find the prices on the website that there was something wrong. There was also real trickery around how the "50% off" discount voucher worked - it did not apply to many of the dishes on the menu and it was not clear when it did or did not apply. Even with an £80 "discount" to our bill it came to £50 each (£350 in total) for a starter, a main and four small bottles of beer each.
Because of the poor food, inflated prices and the way they deliberately caught us out on ordering dishes that appeared to be on the discounted menu but which weren't, I felt like I'd been ripped off. In fact it's the most ripped off I've felt in a restaurant in London ever, and I eat out 4 or 5 times a week. Avoid!
