This restaurant is without doubt 'the place to go in London', it cannot be faulted. The food is wonderful, the service impeccable, which results in a marvellous experience.
I have been twice, once for dinner with my son. On that occasion we experienced the 'menu exceptional' with wine, i recall this was about £150 a head but it was a very special treat and takes any concern out of the meal because the Sommelier serves the correct wines with each course (8 if I recollect correctly).
The second occasion I and four friends had lunch, again a great meal made better by a visit by Michel Roux to our table.
What you do need to be aware of is there is a rolling 3 month waiting list for a table! So, if you want a table for the 1st of April you need to phone on the 1st January, not the day before, not the day after. Phone at 9am, any later than that the tables will be gone. You have been warned!
