HI,

Thanks for taking the time to write up a review - really pleased to hear you had such a great time with us.

Just to let you know, the service charge is 100% optional and it all goes directly to the members of staff working that shift.

Thanks

Jon

A very busy little restaurant. We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant and felt a little jostled by waiting staff and customers using the toilets at the back of the restaurant.
The food on the whole was well cooked and tasty. However the main course was served on cold plates therefore the food on the plate became cool very quickly.. The pudding was a cherry crumble which was served cold even when reheated the cherries were barely lukewarm. Apart from the cool food we quite enjoyed our evening.

Excellent food and service.... well worth a visit. I will definitely be going back. Location feels a bit off pitch but it is actually quite close to both Waterloo and Southwark stations.

Agree with most of the other reviews. The food here is very good. Nice shortish menu with interesting touches. There were three vegetarian choices. But very good on the meat: venison, beef-burger, steak etc. Service great - nice people. We were rushed a bit to get to the Young Vic for 7.30pm but that was our fault. Only gripe: wine prices - should have good house wines for around £15. I spent £50 on two bottles (for 5 people) and they were at the cheaper end of the list. This is a common problem in London eateries. On the whole - very good.
