On entry, we were a bit taken back by the 'retro come vintage' decor but once seated with Japanese beer there was a really good variation of sushi dishes.
I found out about this restaurant from time out magazine and even the restaurants website is honest about being good value whilst being good food and that it is not a high class sushi bar which then makes the visit a pleasant surprise. Would definitely come again. We had in total three beers, two miso soups, and 6 dishes which came to a total of £40 :-)

From outside this sushi place doesn't look good, but go inside as you will be rewarded. The sushi is made right in front of your plate and you can order special sushi if you like. Prices are fair.

I come here quite regularly, because the food is good and it's not overpriced. I think it's way better than yo sushi. The fish is always fresh and tasty, and the staff always nice and polite. Green tea is free!

I've eaten here regularly over the years, it's always been good fresh sushi, the staff have always been friendly and it's reasonably priced. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait for stuff ordered from the menu...but I guess it's because it's being made fresh :) I've attempted to go a few more times but they aren't open all day sometimes, check before making the trip.

Lovely little independent sushi place in Soho.
the sushi was great, and we ordered some mixed tempura t go with it - £10 get you 4 large prawns, aubergine and sweet potatoes.
Miso was also nice and fresh, I will really come back.
Note that the 45 min per person is taken very seriously in busy times..they will ask you to leave!
They have a very good selection of take away food, at very good prices.
