Our hotel managed to get us quite a late booking at this restaurant that we have wanted to try for a long time, but they apologised that we would have to sit at the restaurants bar rather than in the main dining room. When we arrived and were shown to our bar stools I was worried that it would be a rushed meal with no atmosphere. I could not have been more wrong. We had a great time getting to know the 3 Bar Tender/ Waiters/ Entertainers (Tom and Co) . These guys are so knowledgeable about the menu, the ingredients and the history of the place. We went with their recommendations and were not disappointed. The fish was fantastic so fresh and cooked so well. The haddock was delicious and the Cru Virunga Chocolate and Honeycomb Bombe is "A Must" as is Tom's Chocolate Martini. Wish we lived closer!
