This is the 3rd Gordon Ramsay Restaurant i have visited and so far the best we arrived a few mins early and was shown in to the dining room a lovely ambiance as not to big but nice and personal we were introduced to the menu and being the host i was the only one to see the pirices as was treating my wife to a birthday dinner. i went for 2 courses and the witfe went for 8 coarse banquet.

we were given a selection of small appetizers to start us off and wife went with wine tasting menu for the banquet the staff are very friendly and made good chooses of wines at the end of the meal the wife was given a small birthday cake and we were given a guided tour of the kitchen was a top night was expensive but some times in life its worth paying that little bit extra over the competition to have a top night out. look forward to checking his other 2 restaurants as the manager of the restaurant was telling us about his new one in Battersea that sounded nice.

This was our first visit to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and a hope it will not be our last. From the moment we arrived (half an hour early but seated straight away) until we left the staff could not have been better, more attentive (without being pushy) or more helpful. We had the Prestige menu and every component was excellent. The sommelier was sympathetic to our attempts to navigate and extensive and expensive wine list. We went with his recommendation based on what we tend to like and it was perfect for the occasion at a relatively modest price.

When the bill came it was a plesant surprise. You know you have to pay for such quality, but this was worth every penny.

If you get the chance, go. The whole evening was faultless.

We have dined here several times and had lunch here again today. Yet again I have to say that the service and food were absolutely first rate, faultless. The poached lobster dish was a riot of colour, so cheerful it was a shame to spoil it by eating it and the precision with which the Halibut and King Crab were presented on the bed of cous cous surely must've taken a spirit level to get right! Fabulous.

Jean Claude made us feel super welcome as ever, he's so charming, absolutely nothing is too much trouble and despite the restaurant being incredibly busy (thanks to it being the Chelsea Flower Show week), we didn't feel even the slightest bit rushed. What I like about this restaurant and why it takes number one spot for us is that the ambiance is very muted and understated, quietly elegant and nothing ostentatious. Classic 'old money' frequenters for fellow diners which is lovely - true wealth whispers, it doesn't shout and this restaurant caters to that genre perfectly.

We are booked in again on June 16th (our Wedding Anniversary) and for a special occasion this place is an absolute winner. I'm off to visit their sister restaurant, Petrus, tomorrow with a girlfriend, which is an equally superb restaurant, so if you can't get in here, try there. I would strongly recommend either of them to you.

My wife and I have ate at several top flight restaurants in London and to be honest the food was very good but not wow!. However the dinning experience was outstanding. The staff are so friendly and attentive, talking through every aspect of the dinning experience and making you so very welcome to the restaurant. Being a 3 star Michelin restaurant the little extras were expected but very good the poached chicken with the chicken consomme was spectacular as were the amuse booche. The staff quickly picked up my wife was Vegetarian and changed everything. The rest of the meal was very good but as I said no wow. But maybe that is what it is about balancing every meal so it is cooked & accompanied perfectly without overpowering your taste buds. My only critique is the cheese board, needs whole meal biscuits not sweet biscuits.
