Last December 2012, me & my brother visited this restaurant for the first time. Made reservation via Gordon Ramsay website and the staff choose us for lunch time, lucky we got it cause in evening we go back to Indonesia. The atmosphere was nice & calm, the staff were friendly and warmly, even the price was bit expensive but the quality and taste of food were absolutely delicious, finally i could see the kitchen and met Chef Clare Smyth also taken photo together.
Hope one day if i visited again to London, will come to this restaurant again.

Positives: Absolutely beautiful food that was well presented arrived for each meal. The duck entree in particular was spectacular!! We also appreciated all of the little extras - eg chocolates, truffles at the end that were a surprise and the surprise consume at the start. Fabulous service- not intrusive but definitely they all communicated well amongst each other.

NegativeS: probably too formal atmosphere, no soft music on background. My main bug bear was exorbitant price of wine list asks drinks. My husbands coffee was 5 pound, cheapest bottle of wine was 40£ and list too long to read through at table. Portion siZes were also not very generous (especially the main). 12.5% service charge added to bill- I believe given service this was deserved however would be nicer to leave this to customer.

Ramsay was a difficult reservation to make - as it was a small restaurant and was open only from Mondays to Fridays. Due to the fact that it's one of the only 3 stars in London, I decided to pay the restaurant a visit. Service, I have to say, was impeccable throughout - friendly and warm.

I ordered the 3 course ala-carte menu in order to try his signature dishes (cost 90quid). Lobster langoustine and prawn ravioli with sorrel sauce was good - the sauce being flavourful - but the meat perhaps a bit too hard and lacking in flavour and the ravioli skin a bit too tough. Bresse pigeon with date sauce was really excellent - the pigeon meat being full of flavour, robust, gamey, and tender. Coconut souffle was also a winner - light and fluffy.

Overall there were some real "hit songs" in the meal - but at 90 quid I believe was rather expensive. Still, worth visiting.
