Good for: Large groups, Special occasions, Business meetings
Dining options: Dinner, Lunch, Late Night, Reservations, Seating, Serves Alcohol, Waitstaff
Neighborhood: Fitzrovia
Description: This is not just any old tapas restaurant. Fino, in the West End, Charlotte Street, is headed up by Head Chef, Nieves Barragan, from the Basque region of Spain. The cosy contemporary interior, with a roomy bar, is super sleek but the ambience informal: Fino is popular with everyone from business people to families. Start off at the bar which has an impressive range of cocktails and mocktails, such as Basanna which contains fresh basil, coconut syrup and lemon juice charged with ginger ale.All tables have a turnaround time of two hours, upon which time your table will be requested back.

“Little gem”

Back to the 70's! Real retro gem just of Marble Arch. The best frutti de mare ever. Real friendly, old fashioned attentive service. We will b back!

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

Came here on a hunch and the food and service is excellent.

I would suggest any of the set menus, which includes a pre theatre special that is a steal. Reservations are a must, and it can be a little heard to find, but it worth the trip to Mayfair. Wines a prefectly suited for the cuisine and are thoughtfully chose and not just the " usual suspects" Wow.

I will come back again

“How not to treat your customers”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

We booked for 10.00pm but when we got to our table, all the staff wanted to do was serve us as fast as possible and go home. At 10.30pm (on a Saturday night) the only tapas they would offer us was a cheese board because the kitchen was now shut. Our bottle of expensive white wine (this was supposed to be a celebration dinner) was kept chilled away from the table and every time we wanted our glasses filled up, we had to call over a waitress: she was too busy packing up to be bothered with us. The bill was about £170 for two people. For that price, they should be properly looking after you and not hurrying you out as soon as you have sat down.

“Good Tapas”

Thought the staff were very friendly and the tapas was lovely. Would recommend the baby squid and the prawn croquetas. Definately will be going back to try more tapas!

“2nd Visit - same as first”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

Visited here in April 2012 and thought it very good. Second time round I found it just the same as before. Tapas was good without being spectacular. We tried four of their best sherries but I am not really a sherry drinker so was not very impressed. I had the Santiago Tart as a desert and it was delicious, so much so, that I got the recipe and will try to make it at home. A little pricey for what it is even considering the fact that it is in central London where prices are high.
