Finance director took me to this place to celebrate my exam results.
It has very modern decor, very spacious, the tables aren't close to eachother so we can have a decent conversation without having to whisper.
Pea and ham Soup was amazing and flavoursome. The main was pork loin with hash and veg. Pork was cooked perfectly., not tough at all!
The dessert was sweet and sufficient. we even ordered ice cream to share!
It is quite pricey but you pay for the professional and friendly service as well as the atmosphere.
Wouldn't come every day but its really good for special occasions.
As it is in bermondsey, expect alot of business lunches here, but don't be put off, it isn't Loud or noisy.
Restaurant is clean and well presented. Wooden floors mean sometimes it can echo a bit.
All in all, good experience!

The venue is really different, quite artsy, spacious, yet intimate. The service was excellent, our waiter seemed to be managing all the tables and was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was great, quite small portions but if you have a starter, main and dessert you wont go home hungry. Good value, you should give it a go, it's miles better than the popular places on Bermondsey Street such as Village East (never going there again)!

Think the title says it all, not the usual elbow-to-elbow which restaurants often have. Food was good, service was fast, but not pushy. Would be a great venue for a special event.

One of those difficult reviews as we had a staff lunch here which isn't always quite a typical visit. There were twenty of us terribly well behaved and we had pre-ordered so no stress on the kitchen.Service was smart and friendly and the après ski style of decoration was rather fun.The cooking was good but we had a lot of young people with us with very healthy appetites and they grumbled a bit at the size of portions and the lack of vegetables. My venison and cranberry starter was piquant and tasty and main course pheasant moist and delicious but with several pieces of lead shot.Unfortunately one of our group who checked in his back pack with restaurant staff found it had been stolen by someone entering from back entrance of restaurant.

We had our Christmas dinner here. The food was of a nice enough standard and the place and service were fair enough but the portion sizes (especially the main courses) were truly outrageous. So small! Mine would have been unacceptable as a starter. Total rip off, especially at £30 for two microscopic courses. Unfortunately I couldn't complain there and then as I didn't want to upset the colleague who organised it but we all agreed and all left feeling hungry. I have emailed delfina directly with feedback but heard nothing yet in five days. Shame.
