“A lovely family dinner”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

Recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. We used the two for £29 deal and found the choice of food was very good. Children's menu was excellent and gave a wide choice of mains. Service fine occasionally a bit slow. Restaurant situated in a nice area and well laid out.

“A memorable for the wrong reasons!!”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

Think I'll have to cross Brown's off the chain list. Early Saturday dinner at 5pm and surrounded by noisy kids. pleasant welcome when we arrived but service went down hill rapidly after that. !0 minutes before a waiter came to take our drinks order. Another 10 -15 minutes before they arrived so had to get the food order in as soon as they finally came. It didn't appear that busy at all. While this was going on the noise from the kids was horrendous and the parents didn't appear to have any consideration for other dinners. The food, when it arrived was tastefully but even my wife commented on the lack of chips. Sorry Brown's couldn't wait to get out in to relative peace and quite of London.

“We wanted a Lobster night - a treat! It was meant to be special”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

We arrived and firstly there was no-one to welcome us and show us to a table - is that old-fashioned? Well, with the way the service is at Brown's, if not, we would have spent hours trying to wave a waiter/ waitress down to get their notice, the service was very poor.

We ordered Lobster and a bottle of white wine: the lobster arrived almost instantly - obviously it was pre-prepared, it was very un-special, it was lukewarm, it was very underwhelming. The best thing about the meal was the frites.

We won't come here again and definitely do not recommend this place!

“Best sticky toffee”
Reviewed May 27, 2014 via mobile

This review is very overdue but rather late than never. I visited Browns 2 weeks ago and had a great night with my partner. The staff were friendly and efficient in what was a busy night. The manager on duty luciana came over to chat and i had the best sticky toffee iv ever had in my life. Cant wait to return.
