Description: For global travellers with a cultured palate and a love of variety, Asia de Cuba is a destination restaurant with a must-taste fusion philosophy. The iconic St Martins Lane eatery has been newly renovated and now offers an updated menu and whimsical, enchanting interior design. Cuban-born executive concept chef Luis Pous enhances Jeffrey Chodorow's original culinary vision with experimental combinations and a new twist on old favourites. Inspired by the cultural synthesis of old Havana's Chinatown, Pous interprets Asian-influenced Cuban fare for a modern crowd and a discerning palate. The new Asia de Cuba retains the same authentic preparations, tropical accents, and sharing-style presentation loved by guests and food critics alike, now enhanced with a creative new menu and a chic new dining sanctuary. Fresh ingredients, handcrafted dishes, and eye-catching interiors make for an unforgettable dining experience with surprising cultural flavours. Bottomless Brunch runs from Friday to Sunday, with live music on a Saturday. Summer Terrace: Created in partnership with premium gin Tanqueray No. TEN, discover our summer terrace at St Martins Lane which is divided into two elements, representing the hotel’s interior outlets. One part echoes The Den serving Gin & Tonic Afternoon Tea that will satisfy and surprise the most discerning of the tipple’s enthusiasts; the other will reflect Asia de Cuba providing a selection of exclusive gin pairings.

“Lovely subtle flavours”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

I have been to the Asia de Cuba restaurants in London & New York a few times, and always had a good experience.

On this occasion we took advantage of the pre-theatre menu (excellent value at £22 for 2 courses and a mini Mojito) at Asia de Cuba in the very cool St Martin's Lane Hotel. Our whole party loved the lovely subtle flavours from the various dishes.

Service was really good with the friendly waiter acknowledging our time pressure and ensuring we had a really enjoyable meal with plenty of time to get to the nearby theatre.

The Light Bar in the hotel is a nice place for a pre or post-dinner drink.

“An excellent meal”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Our visit, on Friday 14th June, was nothing but a success. From the excellent G&Ts in the bar first (I always prefer cucumber in mine, rather than lemon or lime) to the wonderfully attentive and informative, but not overbearing & intrusive, staff the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Asia de Cuba. The Calamari salad was divine, especially whatever dressing was on the leaves. The BBQ chicken was excellent, as were the Pork Belly and the noodles dishes. Including drinks, it was about £100 a head but was worth every penny. I highly recommend it and am sure we'll be going back.

“Cool”
Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Had the crab cakes and BBQ chicken for a main, loved the BBQ chicken and would have the calamari salad next time though. Loved the restaurant, service and food, just the drinks a bit pricey, but, will definitely go back.

“"Don't be fooled by the decor. It's terrible."”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

It is easy to be fooled on first glance. Asia De Cuba certainly looks the part. Great decor and glamorous waiting staff who greet you with a big cheesy grin. Don't be fooled. Firstly, the overly attentive staff want to tell you what you should eat and squirm with annoyance when you choose something they haven't recommended. Then there's the mish mash of food that is served up. Even willy wonka couldn't dream up some of the flavour combinations on offer. Bizarre. Additionally, when you order your steak medium and get it burnt to a cinder, you can't help but wonder who they are employing? I would rather give £200 to Ronald McDonald himself than go back. Save your self some money and a lot of disappointment. Truly, the worst food I have ever eaten.

“Excellent food and atmosphere”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Great venue for a girls night out. Beautiful fresh spiced fish dishes followed by wicked huge desserts of doughnuts and carrot cake. Friendly fun service. Will definitely be returning.
