Description: 'If I crave steak, I come to Hawksmoor. It's as simple as that. Cheap, it ain't, but great meat never is. Their Knightsbridge place may be a little better mannered than its eastern siblings, a touch smarter, but its spirit (and steak) remains gloriously unsullied' Tom Parker-Bowles. Hawksmoor Knightsbridge, with its glamorous Art Deco interior, is just off Brompton Road between Knightsbridge's iconic department stores, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and Kensington's cultural institutions, the Victoria & Albert, Natural History and Science Museums and the Royal Albert Hall. As well as steaks from ethically-reared traditional British breeds, the menu features a number of new seafood dishes such as Singapore-style Devilled Lobster, raw Wild Sea Bass with Chilli & Ginger and a Lobster Roll with Sriracha & Yuzu. For those needing respite from shopping or a post-museum pick-me-up there is also a set menu available at lunch time (Monday to Saturday) and early evening (from 5-6pm). As well, of course, as the wines and cocktails that helped us win Observer Food Monthly's Best Place to Drink.' The largest party we can accommodate in our restaurant is 12 people. If your group is larger, please call us as occasionally we have some flexibility. Knightsbridge is perfect for a wide range of events including private and corporate parties and cocktail receptions. We can accommodate up to 120 people for events. For more information on private hire and events, please contact our events department.

Recommended by many including - the concierge at the Lowndes and the guys in Claridges - really enjoyed it.
just passed Harrods and downstairs - Art Deco bar - and a lady who knew how to make a martini !

busy and good atmosphere - had to be educated about the "meats " - how much did want and how cooked - but the waiter sat down at the table and guided us through
Great beef - sort of chateaubriand style - and chips to die for !
All in all a fab experience and definitely going back again and again - keep it up

From the greeting to ordering us a taxi at the end, this restaurant had it all. It's casual but is brilliant. The service was excellent and the steak is perfect. There is a bigger menu at Knightsbridge and it's not just steak. But why have something else when the steak is cooked to perfection. The Ferrero Rocher dessert is amazing. Nice relaxed atmosphere

Oh wow what a fantastic birthday lunch yesterday. This restaurant (they have a few in the city) was recommended to me by a colleague but they had not been to the one in Knightsbridge. The steak was to die for, we had the fillet and sirloin as the porterhouse (which we originally wanted) was too huge for two people to share and once our lovely waiter Roland explained we went with his choice. The complimentary glass of champagne was a lovely touch. The triple cooked chips and spinach with lemon and garlic were wonderful. This was not the end, we shared the peanut butter shortbread with caramel salted ice-cream which was out of this world (don't think about the stuff in a jar) you have to try this. The service and staff (especially Roland) were faultless, lovely relaxed atmosphere with background music. Just try it .....

Delicious cocktails, amazing food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff.

Must haves ...... ceviche seabass for starter, Jansson's temptation as a side dish to accompany your steak, and the peanut butter shortbread for dessert (honestly, make room ..... it is so good!).

Cannot fault a thing!
