Took my wife there for our 36th wedding anniversary. We both eat out In London regularly but this was our first time at the OXO Tower.

From the way our booking was handled at reception through to the way we were asked if we needed a cab as we left the whole experience was excellent. We had a good table, food was excellent and the advice on deserts was really useful. Great atmosphere even on a Tuesday the restaurant was buzzing.

All the staff were brilliant and if you want good food and great views this is the place to go to , totally recommend you try it.

I have been to OXO many times over the years, and it has certainly changed. It was always top notch, with great service and food. This time was different. There were TOO MANY servers. On 3 different occasions during the meal, we had to wait more than 10 minutes for someone to come to our table, and had to flag them down to get service. It appears as if, because there are so many staff, they all think the others are serving customers.
The food was good, but nothing special. Prices at OXO have certainly gone up, but the food has gone down.
This visit to OXO was a real disappointment. With these prices, i would expect nothing but the best in service & food.

“Nice experience”
Reviewed August 23, 2014

No doubt that it is a lovely restaurant, lovely view (as you can see very far from the restaurant), lovely atmosphere (with piano playing at the background) and delicious food. I had a 3 courses meal and they were all very well presented. Although I feel that it was a bit over priced. 2 people costed £170 but definitely worth a visit.

“Excellent food and service plus spectacular views. Not cheap, though.”
Reviewed August 22, 2014 via mobile

We had a really excellent meal at the Oxo Tower Restaurant. Everything was delicious, worthy of at least one Michelin star. The service was outstanding as well. Friendly and knowledgable. Add to this fantastic views over London. We paid £160 for three people (mains only). Not cheap but we didn't expect so either. Well worth a visit!!

“Not for Romance!”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

Dined here socially. Great views, but tables very close together and I am sure we annoyed the couple at the table next to us. We were 4 people catching up after a years gap and were not too loud but the tables are very close together.
Good welcome on arrival and had drink in bar area, good choice of beers and wines and priced as you would expect overlooking the Thames in London. Attentive servers but not in your face.
All 4 of us were able to choose easily from an interesting luncheon menu. All enjoyed their choices. Service again attentive but not over powering. Will come back for Dinner at some time in the future to see the Thames at night.
